In the 1990s, Carl co-created spots like “Khakis Swing,” which changed the face of modern fashion advertising. Later, while at Laird+Partners, his work on Gap included the Audrey Hepburn spot and “Gap (PRODUCT)RED.” Recently, CarlByrd&Co. teamed up to direct the creative thinking behind the Gap x GQ campaign “The Best New Menswear Designers In America.”
